Mr. and Mrs Hanson took the tour to Vietnam 21 st Jan - 3nd Feb 2009, expressing their feelings on the tour. If we were going to be taking any other trips while in Hanoi, I would have no hesitation in using you and/or your agency. The positives of dealing with you and Prolands were the following: Quick response on email messages Pick up at our location and our not having to deal with getting a taxi or going to the old quarter to meet a bus. Having you meet us in the morning with the driver Fair price for the trip And of course, this follow up. The negatives were very, very minor, so I hesitate to even mention them. I also think you cannot do much about fixing these small things! The drive to Halong Bay was fine. We stopped at a "tourist" place for a toilet stop. That stop was fine. The toilets were much appreciated and the people at that shop let us wander and look around. They did not pressure us in any way. But other than that, the driver was excellent and we thought did a good job. I don't know how you can find good toilets and a place to stop on the way to and coming from Halong Bay, but it really seemed to be just another opportunity to wring money from tourists. We found the staff to be charming, eager and knowledgeable. The boat itself was quiet beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had actually decided to take this trip on the recommendation of a friend, Joseph Paguiligan. Joseph was on the Paradise Junk the week before us and spoke very highly of the crew and the boat. Indeed, only when coming to Vietnam, did we understand how beautiful it was. Especially, your Halong Bay is very beautiful, beyond our imagination. Before the trip to your country, we had got to know the information of the tour via you website and interestingly you could arrange us an unforgettable tour, which could cover Hanoi city tour, Sapa trekking, Halong Bay cruise, Tam Coc. Many thanks for your advising us to select such an interesting junk. Servants on the junk were professional ones since they actually know how to satisfy us. They were skillful in cooking seafood and arranging dishes wonderfully. The junk and accommodation were spacious and clean. Every thing on the junk was as convenient as that in the hotel. Your guides impressed us. All of them were knowledgeable and helpful. The local guide in Sapa was great; she introduced us customs and practices of ethic groups in mountainous areas in detail. In Halong Bay, the guide, Tung, was also good at presenting us the history of Halong Bay and its legend. Especially, when visiting some caves, Tung showed us the meaning of shapes of stone, and according to feelings they were exactly the same as the shapes of Buda, elephants, waterfalls and so on, incredible! Dear Mr. Nguyen Dac Thu, Thank you for your very good, interesting and mostly, well organized tour in Halong Bay. The cruise was much better than we ever expected! Your country’ Halong Bay is very beautiful, only one in the world. Our boat, Bay Bhaya, which you recommended us, was excellent. The time mentioned in the itinerary was precise, so we could get the chance to enjoy unique beauty of Halong Bay. We were impressed by all what boat staff served. Seafood was extremely delicious and worth tasting. We were sure that all serving staff on the boat were very professional. Although the tour was the mixture of city tour in Hanoi and Halong Bay, the way you arrange the itinerary and accommodation was flexible. They were little issues as well, they did not matter since you know we did not hope everything should have been 100% perfect!!! I really enjoyed my holiday and up to now It has been a fadeless memory in my mind. When set foot on Hanoi soil, everything was in progress perfectly. We had a wonderful time and exploited colorful cultures in your beautiful country. It is difficult for us to express how your country is beautiful and peaceful since any place we traveled through we received local friendly villagers’ warm welcomes. Wonderfully, you could arrange us to have home-stay in Mai Chau – Hoa Binh, and honestly, the experience has left us a fadeless impression up to now, in our country. Your guides, who were very knowledgeable and considerate, could help us to contact villagers so that we could better understand about their life. To tell the truth, my husband, a cultural researcher, was satisfied with what your guides performed. He hopes that one day he will come back to Vietnam in order to have a deeper understanding of your country, and this is my wish, as well. Your tour was a unique combination of the so-called culture and adventure tour. It was comprised of relaxation in old quarter of Hanoi and ancient town of Hoi An, Halong Bay and Mai Chau and Sapa trekking. If we have another chance to Vietnam, we will visit these places again. Frankly, Elizabeth Montilla Barry Schultz, manager of Intel Singapore, together with his 3 angel children, took cruise Halong 3 days and Hanoi Sapa 6 days from July 22, 2008 to July 31, 2008. Hello Prolandtours, I attended tours through Prolandtours in the Hanoi region and Sapa Lao Cai, guided by Nguyen Thuy Vinh. The tour group consisted of my three young children and me. My experience was rewarding and Vinh was interesting, and more considerate than what I would like to reveal here! Indeed, Vinh demonstrated the utmost professionalism. His good organization is remarkable, both in planning and in conversation. Modestly, I am myself a highly education person, but still I should learn something from Vinh’ problem solving skills. I was very impressed with his broad and deep though process. It is undeniable that my children and I were in his debt since he could help me a lot when my children got ill in Sapa. Vinh dealt with all things for me. He impressed me as very capable. Vinh also touched us with is warmth, tenderness, and patience. He was more than a professional guide, feeling like a friend as well. His mastery of the English language was impressive, as was his ability to store and recall the interesting facts regarding the sites we toured. The tour to Sapa and cruise in Halong Bay is wonderful. Hotel in Sapa had good view and was beautiful and the junk in Halong was better than I had expected before travelling to Vietnam. Thank you for your good services, Prolandstours.
